Children, young people and families who are affected by domestic abuse or violence can get support, including refuge accommodation, by contacting Derbyshire Domestic Abuse Helpline.

Drugs or alcohol support
Change Grow Live offer free and confidential service for young people, under the age of 19, who are using drugs or alcohol and want some support which can range from one-off to long-term support.
Family Help Service
The Family Help Service supports families with specific needs in a targeted, helpful way. Helping families feel stronger and more confident, and to make sure children and young people get the right support at the right time.
Financial Support
Information and advice is available and designed to ensure that you’re getting all the help and information you are entitled to on all aspects of your finances including energy bills, the cost of your weekly shop and your take home pay.
Food Support
If you are struggling with food insecurity there is help available. Rural Action Derbyshire supports a network of food banks and provides emergency food and support to local people.
Mental Health Support
Navigating mental health services can be hard, especially when you’re unwell. Find information about the different types of support available for mental health problems – including crisis services, talking therapies, advocacy and more.

SEND Support
You can find advice and information about the services available for your child or young person from birth to 25 years with a special educational need or disability.
Space 4 U
Support five to 18-year-olds who are affected by someone else’s alcohol or drug misuse. This could be a parent/carer, sibling or close friend.
